Oberlin, Ohio - Second-seeded DePauw extended its win streak to a season-long six matches and advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship match following a 5-3 semifinal win over third-seed Denison.
The Tigers improved to 10-12, while the Big Red dropped to 11-7. DePauw faces second-ranked Kenyon in tomorrow's 3 p.m. title match.
DePauw swept the doubles play as the number-one tandem of Sam Miles and Ben Kopecky defeated Denison's Grant Veltman and Shankar Rajupet 8-3.
The second doubles duo of David Moss and Reid Garlock beat Andrew Marczak and Casey Cempre 9-8 and 14-12 in the tiebreaker, while Andrew Kahn and Eric Vannatta took an 8-5 victory over Jeffrey LoDuca and Jackson O'GormanBean at the third spot.
Kopecky topped Veltman 7-5, 6-1 at number-two singles before Kahn wrapped up the match at fifth singles with a 6-3, 7-5 triumph over Graham Gettel.
