McCracken Takes Home First Lacrosse Honor In Program History

Greencastle, Ind.Elizabeth McCracken of the DePauw women's lacrosse program was named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) player of the week after her 11-goal, seven-assist performance last week in helping the Tigers go 2-0 in a pair of games last week.

So far this season McCracken is second in the NCAC in goals per game (4.67), trailing just her teammate Natalie Swiler. However, McCracken does lead the conference in points per game at 8.0.

In last Saturday's 23-12 win over Albion, McCracken tallied 11 total points, scoring five goals and dropping six assists. With score tied at 11 midway through the second half, McCracken scored three goals over the final 20 minutes to help pave the way for the DePauw victory.

The following day, McCracken continued her scoring tear, netting six goals and an assist in a 17-6 victory over Trine in Angola, Ind.

McCracken and DePauw play their first NCAC game in program history on Saturday, March 30 against Hiram in Greencastle, Ind. The match is slated to begin at 1 p.m. (ET).
