February 21, 2010, St. Peter, Minn. — DePauw, ranked 11th in Division III, topped host and 25th-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College by a 6-3 score and finished seventh at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III National Team Indoor Championship.
The Tigers dropped a 6-3 decision to eighth-ranked Johns Hopkins earlier on Saturday as they picked up a win at number one doubles and fifth and sixth singles.
Against Gustavus, the Tigers took two of the three doubles matches and then won at third through sixth singles.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, March 6, when it hosts Chicago and Luther.
