April 11, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — The 18th-ranked Tigers defeated 14th-ranked Carnegie Mellon, 5-4, to advance to the Great Lakes Colleges Association title match, but lost to ninth-rated Kenyon by a 5-1 score and placed second in the tournament. The Tigers are 16-3 after the Saturday split.
The Tigers travel to Wabash on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. match.
