April 12, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - The 14th-ranked Tigers dropped a 5-4 decision to 17th-ranked Carnegie Mellon in the Great Lakes Colleges Association tournament semifinals. DePauw fell to 13-5 on the year, while Carnegie Mellon improved to 15-6.
DePauw took a 2-1 lead after winning at first and second doubles, but Carnegie Mellon took the win with victories at second, third, fourth and sixth singles.
The Tigers face Denison in the third-place match later today.
