March 23, 2008, Atlanta, Ga. - The 12th-ranked Tigers opend their spring trip with losses to Amherst and to fourth-ranked Emory and dropped to 6-4 on the season.
In the Amherst match, the Tigers took a 2-1 lead after winning at first and second doubles, but picked up their only singles victory at the number-five slot.
Emory took two of the three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead and then won at first, second, fifth and sixth singles for the win.
The Tigers face Chicago on Tuesday morning on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
