October 6, 2008, St. Louis, Mo. - Eight DePauw student-athletes competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Tournament and one of the doubles teams advanced to the semifinals.

Seven of DePauw's eight singles competitors won their first-round matches with Will Gates and Scott Swanson winning their first three matches before bowing out in the round of 16. Michael Rardon lost his opening round match, but came back to win four matches in the consolation bracket before losing in the finals.

All four doubles teams won their first-round matches and three advanced to the round of 16. Gates and Hunter Schouweiler won four matches before falling in the semifinals to Washington University's Charlie Cutler and Chris Hoeland by an 8-2 score.
