Atlanta, Ga. - The 25th-ranked Tigers improved to 10-11 on the season with a 7-0 win over Oglethorpe University in the opening day of play at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship. DePauw, seeded second, advanced to Saturday's semifinals where they will face third-seed Sewanee at 1 p.m. EDT.
The Tigers picked up the doubles point by winning all three doubles matches and then swept the six singles contests in straight sets. DePauw dropped just 11 games in a total of 12 singles sets.
