Box Score 2 Greencastle, Ind. -Â DePauw moved to 1-2 on the season after splitting its Sunday matches. The Tigers dropped a 6-1 contest against second-ranked Chicago before rebounding with a 7-0 win over Rose-Hulman.
Despite losing the doubles point against Chicago, the Tigers' third tandem of
Will Hutchinson and
Paul Castleman defeated Heyang Li and Gopal Koduri by a 6-3 score. The Tigers' point came at fifth singles where Hutchinson was a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 winner over Albert Mackey.
DePauw swept all nine matches against Rose-Hulman with just one of the six singles contests going three sets.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, Feb. 13, when they open North Coast Athletic Conference play by hosting Denison at 5 p.m.
