Will Hutchinson (Fr., Indianapolis, Ind./Brebeuf Preparatory School) has been chosen North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performances in three matches last week.
Hutchinson posted a 1-1 record at fifth singles including a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 win over Albert Mackey of second-ranked Chicago.
In doubles play, he teamed with
Paul Castleman at the third spot and the tandem finished with a 2-1 mark. The duo defeated Heyang Li and Gopal Koduri of second-ranked Chicago by a 6-3 score and then topped Joao Henrique Nossar and Ephraim Guthrie of Rose-Hulman by a 6-3 score.
DePauw opens North Coast Athletic Conference play on Friday, Feb. 13 when it hosts Denison at 5 p.m.
