Tigers Edge Out Wildcats in Season Opener on the Road

Box Score Marion, Ind.- The DePauw men's tennis team opened the season with a win against Indiana Wesleyan, beating the Wildcats 4-3 on the road.

DePauw picked up a two-point lead in doubles at the first and third spots. Chase Hutchinson and Teagen Crow notched the first win of the match after defeating the Wildcat's Riley Fuqua and Isaiah Hosteler 6-0 on court three. On court one, Ryan McCook and Hudson Mosher defeated Indiana Wesleyan's Issac Steiner and Ethan Gray 6-4 to put the Tigers up 1-0.

DePauw solidified its win in singles play as Evan Uhl defeated Isaiah Hosteler at the fourth flight by a 6-2, 6-3 score, and clinching the win for the Tigers, was Jake Louiselle, who beat Lenny Bengtsson by a 6-3, 5-7, 6-0 count on court three.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, September 16, when it hosts the DePauw Fall Invitational.
