Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw nose tackle Chris Green (So., Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) has been chosen North Coast Athletic Conference Football Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Tigers' 41-20 Monon Bell game win at Wabash.

Green totaled four tackles including three solos and led the Tigers with 2.5 sacks for losses totaling 14 yards. He also had a quarterback hurry as the Tigers limited Wabash to just 32 rushing yards in 30 attempts and held the Little Giants to a season-low point total.

For the season, Green has totaled 20 tackles including 8.0 for losses totaling 31 yards of which 4.5 are sacks for 24 yards.

DePauw, ranked 10th in the latest coaches' poll and 15th by D3football.com, earned an at-large berth in the NCAA Division III Football Championship and opens play at Wisconsin-Whitewater on Nov. 29, at 12 p.m. CST.
