Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw, ranked 11th in the latest coaches' poll and 15th by D3football.com, travels to Crawfordsville, Ind., for the annual Monon Bell Game against Wabash on Saturday, Nov. 15. Kickoff on Frank Navarro Field at Little Giant Stadium is set for 1:07 p.m.
DePauw is 8-1 overall and 6-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference after last Saturday's 59-0 win over Wooster. The Little Giants, ranked 23rd in the coaches' poll and 24th by D3football.com, are 8-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play following Saturday's 42-13 win at Oberlin.
The winner gains possession of the Monon Bell for the next year. DePauw retained possession of the Bell last year with a 42-21 win in Greencastle. The winner will likely earn one of 13 at-large bids into the 40-team NCAA Division III Championship.
Wabash leads the series, which started in 1890, 63-58-9. The Monon Bell entered the rivalry just prior to the 1932 game and the Little Giants hold a 44-42-6 edge in games played for possession of the Bell. Six of the last eight games have been decided by seven or fewer points.
