Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw forward
Braden Murphey (Jr., South Bend, Ind./Penn) has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week for his performances in the Tigers' road wins over Wabash and John Carroll.
Murphey recorded a hat trick in DePauw's 3-0 win at John Carroll on Saturday and assisted on one goal in the Tigers' 4-1 victory at Wabash on Tuesday. The goals were the first of the season for Murphey. The three-goal performance was DePauw's first since Jay Klein tallied three against Anderson in 2019.
DePauw hosts NCAC foe Denison tomorrow at 4 p.m. The Tigers and Big Red are currently tied atop the conference standings.
