The Tigers scored the first goal of the game when junior, Mathew Fogo, scored the first goal of the game in the 14th-minute on a lone breakaway. Fogo stole the ball from a Wooster defender and faked out sophomore goalie, Eddie Glucksman, to score an undefended goal for the Tigers.
The Fighting Scots evened the score after a costly DePauw penalty led to a penalty kick goal by Woosters' junior Aris Christodoulou in the 31st-minute of the first half.
DePauw had 10 shots over the course of the game, while Wooster had 11. With 14 corner kicks during the game, 9 for DePauw and 5 for Wooster. Possession totals 59% for the Tigers and 41% for the Fighting Scots.
