Terre Haute, Ind.- Making their eighth NCAA Cross Country Championship appearance, the DePauw women's cross country team finished 29th, with 635 points. Taking home this year's title was MIT, who finished with five All-American runners and a total of 128 points.

Pacing the Tigers to its sixth-best finish in program history was senior
Sophie Porter, who ran the 6k course in 21:59.8 and finished 56th for 43 points. Fellow seniors
Lily Monnett and
Brynn Urban came in 167th and 169th, respectively, with Monnett finishing at 22:45.3 (122 points) and Urban finishing with a time of 22:45.9 (124 points).Â

Grace Thomas finished 199th (23:00.3, 147), followed by senior
Kendall Mann, who came in 265th (23:47.6, 199). Rounding out DePauw's seven was
Grace Flores, who completed the course in 23:48.0 (266th, 200 points, followed by
Amzie Maienbrook, who came in 276th after running the course in 23:49.5 (201 points).

Kori Stoffregen shared, "Today wasn't quite our day, but it was a great year for our ladies. Winning an NCAC Conference Title and our first-ever Regional Title is very special. [I'm] so proud of this team's efforts and sacrifices this season, especially the seniors."

The Tigers wrap up its historic 2024 season with a North Coast Athletic Conference Title, ten All-NCAC finishers, an NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Title, five all-region finishers, and its eighth NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship appearance in program history.
