Box Score Victoria, Texas - DePauw scored three runs in the top of the eighth and claimed an 11-9 win at University of Houston-Victoria. The Tigers improved to 5-7, while the Jaguars dropped to 15-18.
DePauw took a 1-0 lead in the second as
Carter Knoll and
Kyle Boyer each singled before
Danny Sheehan advanced each with a sacrifice bunt. Boyer then scored on a wild pitch.
The Jaguars scored three in the third as Haldemel Perez drew a bases loaded walk and Hayden Leopold knocked in a pair with a single.
The Tigers regained the lead with a three-run fourth as Knoll singled home
Cameron Macon who tripled.
Ty Sucher later doubled home Sheehan and
Nate Hulen scored on a passed ball to make it 4-3.
The lead was short-lived as Zach Lee hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth and Ty Williams hit a solo shot in the inning to make it 6-4.

Ben Greiner scored from third after Macon was caught stealing. Later in the frame,
Eli Bell singled home Boyer to give DePauw a 7-6 advantage.
Levi Whitlock scored on a passed ball in the Jaguars' sixth and Leopold scored Raul Lopez with a single to give the hosts an 8-7 lead.
Boyer's solo homer in the seventh evened the score at 8-8, but Lee drove in Jean Gonzalez Cortes in the bottom half of the frame to give Houston-Victoria a 9-8 lead.
DePauw regained the lead in the eighth as Knoll singled home Howard and Macon before Sheehan scored Knoll with a single.
The Tigers totaled 16 hits led by Knoll and Boyer with three each and two each by Greiner and Macon.
Lee and Leopold each had three of the Jaguars' 12 hits with Lopez and Cortes each finishing with two.
Danny Glimco improved to 2-1 with the relief win, while Julian Garcia dropped to 3-5.
DePauw travels to Southwestern tomorrow for a 6 p.m. CDT contest.
