Box Score Anderson, Ind. - DePauw totaled 17 hits and scored in six different innings on the way to an 11-10 win at Anderson. The Tigers improved to 15-15, while the Ravens dropped to 16-16.
DePauw took a 2-0 lead in the first as Nick Nelson and Cameron Macon singled before Kyle Callahan tripled to center.
Anderson matched that in the bottom of the first as Grahm Reedy scored on a wild pitch and Justin Reed came home on Tyler Smitherma's sacrifice fly.
Kyle Boyer doubled in the second and moved to third on Drew Straub's single. Straub stole second and a throwing error on the play allowed Boyer to score.
Again, Anderson evened the count on Connor Gordon's sacrifice fly which brought home Jake Stank.
Ty Sucher's sacrifice fly in the third scored Callahan and Danny Sheehan came home when Ben Greiner reached on an error.
The Ravens took their first lead of the contest with a four-run third. Smitherma hit a two-run homer before Brady Reed brought home Jed Downham with a ground out and Gordon singled home Stank to give the hosts a 7-5 lead.
The Tigers regained the lead with three more in the fourth after Boyer and Macon walked and Callahan hit his ninth homer of the season.
DePauw extended its lead to 10-7 in the sixth on Callahan's sacrifice fly which scored Nelson and Brian May's single that plated Macon.
Levi Brown led off the Anderson sixth by being hit by a pitch and later scored when Reed reached on an error.
DePauw's final runs came in the ninth as Macon reached on an error with the bases loaded allowing Sucher to score.
Anderson's ninth-inning rally fell just short as Brown and Reedy each had RBI singles, but a fly out ended the threat and the game.
Every hitter in the Tigers lineup collected at least one hit led by Callahan and Sucher with three each. Nelson, Macon, May and Straub each had two and Callahan drove in six.
Stank had four of Anderson's 13 hits, while Reedy added three.
Dylan Perrott improved to 2-2 with Nathan Fackel earning his first save. Anderson's Chandler Wise dropped to 1-2.
DePauw returns to North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday, April 30, with a Noon doubleheader against Ohio Wesleyan at Walker Field.
