Box Score Maryville, Tenn. - DePauw held a 9-3 lead in the seventh, but host Maryville scored six in the seventh and two in the ninth for an 11-10 walk-off win over the Tigers. DePauw dropped to 6-8, while the Scots improved to 14-7.
Maryville scored one in the second, but DePauw responded with a four-run fourth. Tyler Sucher singled home Nick Nelson before Brian May scored on a wild pitch and Sucher came home when Tim Rommeney reached on an error. Rommeney later scored on a passed ball to give the Tigers a 4-1 lead. The Scots countered with one in the bottom of the fourth on Max Bowers' sacrifice fly.
Kyle Callahan reached on a fielder's choice in the sixth that allowed Sucher to score and Nelson followed with a two-run single to extend the Tigers' lead to 7-2.
Bowers' RBI ground out in the bottom of the frame closed the DePauw lead to 7-3, but the Tigers came right back in the seventh as Evan Barnes scored on a wild pitch.
A pair of Maryville hitters drew one-out walks in the seventh before Nelson Smith drove both in with a double. After a pair of hit by pitches loaded the bases, Jimmy Meredith drew a walk to cut the DePauw lead to 9-6. Bowers' grounder scored one before Christian Carlton came home on a wild pitch and Meredith scored after Ian Campbell reached on a bases loaded walk to tie the game at 9-9.
Callahan's solo homer in the eighth put DePauw back out in front, 10-9. Meredith led off the ninth by reaching on an error before Bowers singled and Peyton Milam walked. Gabe Lopez delivered a two-out, two-run single that ended the game.
Sucher had two of DePauw's seven hits, while Meredith had two of Maryville's eight.
Drew Harding dropped to 0-1 with loss in relief, while Damian Lusby improved to 5-1.
DePauw travels to Carson Neuman on Tuesday for a 1 p.m. contest.
