Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Brian May (Sr., River Forest, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) and Michael Vallone (So., Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) have been selected the North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

In the Tigers' season-opening games, May batted .692 (9-13) with four doubles, seven RBI and four runs, while stealing two bases and slugging 1.000. He had at least two hits in all three games including four in yesterday's win over Blackburn.

Vallone started on the mound in the Tigers' 16-0 win over Wilmington and struck out nine with two walks and allowed just two hits in five innings. 

DePauw posted a 2-1 record over the weekend.
