Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw University field hockey team had five members named to the 2022 All-NCAC field hockey selections, with
Hailey Nowak earning the NCAC's Newcomer of the Year award.

Three Tigers earned first-team All-NCAC honors for their 2022 season. Sophomore forward
Lilly Harris finished the season tied for first on the team in total assists with five and was third in goals scored (6) and points with 17. Harris' five assists also tied her for the third most assists in the NCAC.
The NCAC's Newcomer of the year,
Hailey Nowak, led the Tigers in goals (11), game-winning goals (4), and points (25). Nowak finished fourth in goals scored in the NCAC and third in the conference with her game-winning goal total. She finished the season with a shot-on-goal percentage of .647 and played a crucial role as an impact player on the offensive end, slipping past defenders to find the back of the opponents' cage.

Rounding out the first-team selections was senior forward
Allison Quackenbush, who earned first-team All-NCAC selection after finishing second on the team in total goals (8) and points (18). Quackenbush tallied two assists for the season and completed her career with 18 goals, three assists, and a shots-on-goal percentage of 0.756.
First-year
Margaret Volpe was named to the All-NCAC second team. Volpe finished the season tied for third in goals scored with five and was tied for second with four assists for the year. She tallied three game-winners across the season, one of which was in her very first collegiate game, where she scored two goals in DePauw's 3-1 victory over Centre College.

The fifth and final Tiger earning All-NCAC recognition is
Marley Heitman, who earned a spot on the All-NCAC third team. Heitman was tied for fourth in goals scored (5), tied for first in total assists (5), and finished the season with a shot-on-goal percentage of 0.783.Â

The Tigers wrapped up its season with a 13-5 record, going undefeated (8-0) in regular season play to claim the NCAC regular season championship.
