Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Michael Vallone (Fr., Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his performance last week against Wittenberg.

Vallone pitched the Tigers' first no-hitter since 2000 and the first complete game no-hitter of at least seven innings since 1980. He allowed just one base runner (a hit batsman), struck out eight and faced the minimum 21 batters in an 8-0 victory against Wittenberg.

DePauw returns to action on Thursday, April 22, when it hosts Denison in a 1 p.m. North Coast Athletic Conference West Division doubleheader.
