Springfield, Ohio - Led by three top-five individual finishes, DePauw totaled 32 points and won its fourth-consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country championship. Allegheny was second with 71 points and Denison third with 79.
Jacob Kissling led the Tigers with a second-place showing in 26:04.1 and was named the NCAC Newcomer of the Year. Bailey Scott followed in third in 26:17.3 and Hudson Alden rounded out DePauw's first team all-NCAC performances in fifth in 26:40.1.
A pair of Tigers earned spots on the second team as Zane Williams was eighth in 26:45.7 and Matt Vennemann 14th in 27:03.5. Michael Ocasek (16th/27:13.3) and Thomas Brelage (17th/27:18.8) earned honorable mention.
"Very excited to win four in a row," DePauw head coach Kori Stoffregen said. "Our younger guys carried us today. We haven't hit on all cylinders yet and hope to do that at regionals."
Stoffregen earned NCAC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year honors for the fourth straight year.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, November 13, when it competes in the NCAA Regional at Shelbyville, Ind.
