Meadville, Pa. - After dropping game one of its North Coast Athletic Conference Crossover Series at Allegheny by a 9-0 count, DePauw came back for a 5-3 win in the nightcap to earn a split. The teams meet at Noon tomorrow with the winner earning a spot in the four-team NCAC Tournament.

In the opener, the team were scoreless through three before Allegheny grabbed a 1-0 lead in the fourth. The Gators added four each in the sixth and seventh innings to put the game away.

Tate Stewart had three of DePauw's six hits, while Joe Killian and Shea Beaumont each had three of Allegheny's 11 hits. Cullen Flaherty added two in the win.

Wyatt Spector dropped to 3-5, while Chase Boyer improved to 6-1.

In game two, the Tigers took a 4-0 lead in the second as Collin Einertson drove in a pair with a double and later scored on Mike Hammel's grounder. Jack Thompson's base hit rounded out the scoring as he brought in Zack Wade.

Allegheny cut the lead in half on RBI singles from Max Sessions and Brandon Pouch. The Gators closed to within one in the sixth in Robert DiMaggio's solo homer.

Reid Pittard led off the DePauw seventh with a walk and later scored on Stewart's bunt single.

DePauw totaled nine hits with Pittard and Stewart each finishing with a pair. Jacob Shick and Beaumont each had two of Allegheny's 10 hits.

Riley Futterknecht improved to 6-2 with the complete game win after striking out seven without allowing a walk. Wyatt Sibiga dropped to 4-4.
