March 28, 2008, Danville, Ky. - DePauw took a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the fifth, but host Centre scored six in the fifth and three in the sixth on the way to a 13-5 Southern Collegiate Athletic win over the Tigers.

DePauw, ranked 27th in Division III dropped to 17-5 overall and 4-1 in the SCAC, while the Colonels improved to 10-7 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

The Tigers totaled 10 hits led by Mike Stout, Adam Ford and Jack Gavin with two each. Ford drove in three runs in the loss.

Centre pounded out 19 hits with Ben Jeffers going 4-for-4 and Jeffrey Williams and Steven Kull finishing with three hits apiece. Steven Proctor, Brandon Rosen and John Starks each totaled two.

Jeremy Alland dropped to 2-2 with the loss, while John Herbert improved to 4-0 with the win.

The two teams square off in a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
