March 10, 2008, Conway, Ark. - DePauw improved to 8-2 on the season and extended its win streak to eight straight following a 9-4 win over Hendrix and a 6-1 victory over Central Baptist.

Against Hendrix, the Tigers trailed 4-2 going into the ninth but DePauw scored seven in the final frame including four on Mike Stout's grand slam with no outs. Six different Tigers collected one hit each and David Morefield picked up the win in relief.

The first three batters against Central Baptist reached base before Stout drew a run-scoring walk which led to a four-run first. Taylor Hoffman and Sam Linette each had two hits in the win and Brad Gerlach was credited with the win after recording five strikeouts in four innings.

DePauw's Tuesday home game with Wabash has been postponed and no decision has been made about Wednesday's game at Franklin.
