Box Score March 14, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Trailing 7-0 in the bottom of the sixth, the Tigers rallied to take an 8-7 victory at Walker Field. DePauw improved to 5-5 with its fifth straight win, while the Little Giants dropped to 3-7.
Wabash scored three in the third on Matt Dodaro's three-run homer. Travis Stirling drove in Dodaro with a single in the fifth and the Little Giants added another score on a double play groundout. In the sixth, Dodaro hit a two-run homer to make it 7-0.
Adam Ford hit a solo homer in the sixth for the Tigers' first run before Mike Stout hit a three-run shot in the seventh to close the gap to 7-4. DePauw added two more in the eighth on a wild pitch and Jeremy Dickinson's double down the line.
Matt Kleine led off the DePauw ninth with a single, stole second and scored on Ford's single to center. After Ford advanced on a groundout, Justin Weiner pinch ran and moved to third on a wild pitch. Drew Holy then drove in Weiner with the game-winnning run on a single to center.
DePauw totaled 13 hits led by Dickinson, Chris Newman, Ford, Holy and Kyle Thompson with two each. Wabash finished with 14 hits as Jake Thomas collected four and Dodaro added three along with five RBI. Scott Hamilton also had three hits and Jake Lee finished with a pair.
Paul Rodenhouse improved to 2-2 with the relief win, while Joey Niezer suffered the loss.
The Tigers host Ohio Northern on Saturday in a noon doubleheader.
