Box Score April 29, 2006, Winchester, Tenn. - DePauw pounded out 21 hits and scored in each of the first five innings on the way to an 18-4 win in game eight of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament. DePauw advances to play Millsaps at 2 p.m. today.
Matt Kleine and Chris Newman each collected four hits, while Matt Deahl and Adrian Norris each added three in the win. Kyle Dobbs and Eric Reese added two apiece.
Kleine scored four, while Norris drove in five and Newman four. Kleine and Norris each homered for the Tigers.
J.R. Bizzell, Daniel Vanaman and Adam Keckler each collected two hits for Rhodes with Vanaman adding a homer.
Jeremy Alland improved to 5-1 after pitching a seven inning complete game. Andy Holt dropped to 3-7 with the loss.
