Box Score April 12, 2006, Indianapolis, Ind. - The Tigers dropped to 13-17 on the season following a 2-1 loss to Anderson at Victory Field. The Ravens improved to 13-12 with the win.
Anderson jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first when Zach Sounheim led off with a triple to left center and scored on Eric Smith's sacrifice fly.
The Tigers knotted the score in the fifth when Adrian Norris led off with a double to left center and moved to third on Kevin McAteer's single through the left side. Norris scored after Jeremy Dickinson grounded into a double play.
The Ravens pushed across the game-winner in the bottom of the sixth as Smith led off with a double to left center and scored on Andrew Butts' single to left.
DePauw totaled just three hits, while Smith, Stephan Jones and Kevin Pence each collected two of the Ravens; eight hits.
Eric Mattingly dropped to 0-2 after allowing just two runs over six innings, while Clint Valentine improved to 3-2 with the relief win. Smith picked up his first save after pitching a scoreless ninth.
