GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Tigers split a doubleheader with visiting Milwaukee School of Engineering as they lost the opener 6-4 in 10 innings and won the nightcap 9-6. The split leaves the Tigers with a 4-6 record heading into Sunday's single game with Franklin.

Nate Stoddard's two-run homer in the top of the 10th was the difference in game one as the Raiders took the extra-inning win. The visitors took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth before DePauw scored three in the fifth and one in the seventh to force the game to extra innings.

Steve Spasojevich led off the seventh with a single, was moved to second on a bunt from Jarrett Hunt and to third on Javair Gillett's groundout. Scott Hamer's two-out single tied the contest at 4-4. 

DePauw loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th, but couldn't score. Spasojevich, Hunt, Jason Geringer and Jeff Bardonaro each had two hits for the Tigers. Stoddard went three for five with five RBI for the Raiders.

The nightcap was a different story as DePauw scored single runs in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings and five in the second on the way to the win. Hunt, Hamer and Luke Bean each had two base hits in the victory.

Dan Sadowski picked up the win and Tal Radaker took the save.

The Tigers host Milwaukee School of Engineering in a 10:30 a.m. doubleheader on Sunday.
