Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior running back
Carson Johnson (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Football Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance in DePauw's 56-21 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.
Johnson rushed for 133 yards on 15 carries with touchdowns of 2 and 69 yards. He also caught two passes for 44 yards including a 35-yarder.
The 100-yard rushing effort was Johnson's second in three games this season after he totaled a career-high 148 yards. He currently ranks 23rd in Division III with 120 rushing yards per game.
DePauw, ranked 22nd in the latest coaches' poll, travels to Kenyon on Saturday, Sept. 26, for a 1 p.m. NCAC game.
