DePauw Blanks Earlham in Season Opener

Richmond, Ind. - DePauw opened the 2026 season with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 26-24) win at Earlham.

Madeline Ozersky paced the Tigers with 10 kills with Julia McWaters leading the way with 15 assists while Logan Walters chipped in 10. McWaters added a team-high nine digs and Jen Proeh finished with six blocks. Hooker had two aces in the win.

Caylee Brandes led the Quakers with 16 kills and two blocks, while Emma Ledford finished with a team-best 19 assists. Addison Piatt totaled two aces with Madison Bizjak leading the defensive effort with 21 digs.

The Tigers outhit Earlham, .148-.121, but the Quakers led in kills, 43-34. DePauw held a 6-4 edge in aces and 9-2 in blocks. Earlham also led in digs, 78-57.

DePauw travels to Alliance, Ohio, on Sept. 4-5, for the Mount Union Invitational.
