Sam Ortner started for the Tigers, making three saves and seeing nine shots. For the Thunder, goalkeeper Brandon Walker matched Ortner with three saves and saw 12 shots.
Both teams recorded 13 fouls, with Trine collecting four yellow cards and the Tigers collecting one. The Tigers had a total of six corner kicks to the Thunder's five, and the Tigers maintained possession for 53% of the game to the Thunder's 47%.
