Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw improved to 10-7 overall and 2-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with a 4-3 win over Wabash at Crawfordsville High School. The Little Giants dropped to 11-9 overall and 2-2 in league play.
DePauw earned the doubles point as the number-one tandem of
Finley Buelte and
William Cramer defeated Augusto Ghidini and Rafael Rin by a 6-4 score and the third-doubles duo ofÂ
Scott Anderson and
Thomas Hargreave topped Vittorio Bona and Cole Shifferly 7-6 (7-2).
The Tigers' three singles wins came from Anderson at the second position by a 6-1, 6-1 score over Rin before Buelte defeated Murilo Guarniari 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 at number one.Â
Paul Castleman wrapped up the match with a 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 victory over Ghidini at third singles.
DePauw hosts Wittenberg at 9 a.m. tomorrow and Ohio Northern at 1 p.m.
