Clermont, Fla. - DePauw moved to 10-4 on the season after a 12-7 win over Kalamazoo and a 7-5 victory over Middlebury.
Kalamazoo scored one in the top of the first but DePauw responded with eight in the bottom of the inning. The Hornets were within three at 9-6, but DePauw sealed the win with a three-run sixth.
Kelsey Schneider had four of DePauw's 14 hits with
Emily DuMais totaling three.
Libby Minobe,
Eliza Rammel and
Hanna Coffel had two apiece.
Jaycee Rider led Kalamazoo with three of its nine hits with London Rabb finishing with two hits.
Izzy Deveau improved to 3-1 with Elizabeth Jones falling to 0-3.
In the Middlebury win, DePauw scored three in the third and four in the fourth to take a 7-1 lead. The Panthers scored three in the fifth and one in the seventh
Schneider had three of DePauw's nine hits with Minobe and
Avery Welsh finishing with two apiece.
Sarah LaFond and Sera Tokumaru each had two of Middlebury's six hits.
Peyton Rohr improved to 1-0, while
Alex Romero-Salas collected the save. Emily Ye dropped to 1-1.
The Tigers return to action on Wed., March 25, with games against MIT and Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
