Naperville, Ill. - DePauw outscored North Central, 3-1, in the fourth quarter to claim a 10-8 victory over the Cardinals. The Tigers improved to 4-3 with their third win in the last four contests, while North Central dropped to 1-7.
After the hosts grabbed a 3-1 lead in the opening seven minutes, the Tigers responded with three straight to take their first lead of the contest at 4-3 early in the second.
The Cardinals regained the lead with two in a span of 41 seconds before DePauw took a 7-5 halftime lead with three scores in the closing 3:52 of the half.
North Central evened the score at 7-7 by scoring the only two goals of the third before DePauw sealed the win with three consecutive scores in the final frame.

Noah Sulpizio each scored two for the Tigers with Neff assisting on a pair.Â
Nolan Childs won 6-of-13 faceoffs and led the Tigers with nine ground balls.

Seth Rosen paced North Central with three goals with Devon Manjarrez and Ty Nagy scoring two apiece.Â
Gavin Braley won 14-of-20 faceoffs with Will Handberg scooping up nine ground balls. Handberg, Ben Kerkow and Dominic Rohrer each caused two turnovers.
Anthony Reinhardt recorded nine saves in goal for DePauw with Beck Hagen totaling two for North Central and Matthew Cranston finishing with six.
Each team totaled 40 shots with DePauw holding an 18-17 edge in shots on goal. The Cardinals won 15 of the 22 faceoffs and led in ground balls, 35-33. The Tigers totaled 23 turnovers to North Central's 27.
DePauw opens North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday, March 21, when it hosts Oberlin at 1 p.m.
