Shelbyville, Ind. - DePauw opened the 2025 season by finishing fourth at the Franklin Grizzly Invitational at the Blue River Cross Country Course. The Tigers totaled 110 points, while Centre won with 46 followed by Manchester with 55 and Illinois Cross Country Club with 57.
Patrick McGrail paced the Tigers with an eighth-place finish in 16:15.5, while
Ian Porter was 19th in 16:34.0 and
Owen Mohler was 26th in 16:40.2.
Spencer Hughes placed 28th in 16:43.8 followed by
Dominick Dell in 41st in 17:03.0,
Wyatt Johnson in 45th in 17:09.2 and
Ty Schumann in 64th in 17:44.1.
The Tigers return to action on Sept. 20 at the Gil Dodds Invitational in Warrenville, Ill.
