Franklin, Ind. - DePauw dropped to 8-7 on the season after Franklin topped the Tigers 3-1 (25-15, 25-22, 15-25, 25-19). The Grizzlies improved to 10-9.
Jen Proeh and
Kaiden Harrington paced the Tigers with seven kills apiece with
Kendall Herrick and
Julia McWaters leading with 14 assists each.
Belle Shelton recorded four aces and nine digs with Proeh leading the way with four blocks.
Hope Moring led the Grizzlies with 14 kills and Brionna Linkel had 23 assists. Trinity Schroeder had a team-high five aces and shared the team's lead in blocks with McKenzie Schroeder and Lauren Kinsey as each had two. Campbel Clark finished with 12 digs.
DePauw outhit Franklin, .178-.164, but the Grizzlies led in kills, 49-34. Franklin also held an 11-5 lead in aces.
The Tigers return to North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday, Oct. 4, when they host John Carroll in a 4 p.m. match.
