Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw opened North Coast Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-16) win at Oberlin. The Tigers improved to 8-6 overall and the Yeowomen dropped to 2-12.
Kaiden Harrington and
Madeline Ozersky each had six kills for the Tigers, while
Julia McWaters had 18 assists and three aces.
Grace Myers recorded a team-high 20 digs and
Jen Proeh had six blocks.
Mara Geiger and Brylie Peters each had 10 kills for Oberlin with Jillian Jendsen leading with 17 assists. Iris Archibald paced the Yeowomen with 13 digs and shared the team lead with Geiger as each had one ace.
DePauw outhit Oberlin, .250-.054 and held a 34-30 edge in kills. The Tigers also led in aces, 8-2, and in blocks, 11-0.
DePauw travels to Franklin on Tuesday, Sept. 30, for a 6 p.m. match.
