Greencastle, Ind. - After dropping the opening set against Hanover, DePauw rallied to win the next three for a 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-13) win over the Panthers. DePauw improved to 7-6, while Hanover dropped to 8-5.
Madeline Ozersky led DePauw with 14 kills, while
Kaiden Harrington added 11.
Julia McWaters paced the squad with 25 assists and three aces.
Kendall Herrick had 17 assists and, along with
Addison Hooker totaled two aces each.
Grace Myers recorded 29 digs with
Kerry O'Connor finishing with seven blocks, while
Jen Proeh and Ozersky had six apiece.
Elliot Mays led Hanover with 17 kills with Brooke Gervers assisting 18 times. Madison Schicker totaled three aces, while Kelsey Waggoner paced the defense with 26 digs.
DePauw outhit Hanover, .204-.089, and held a 52-49 edge in kills. The Tigers hit .447 in the fourth set and didn't commit an attack error. The Tigers held a 14-2 edge in blocks.
The Tigers open North Coast Athletic Conference play on Sat., Sept. 27, with a 1 p.m. match at Oberlin.
