Granville, Ohio - DePauw advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament semifinals following a 4-0 quarterfinal win over Ohio Wesleyan. The Tigers improved to 16-7 with their eighth straight win, while the Battling Bishops finished their season at 6-9. DePauw faces Kenyon tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
DePauw picked up the doubles point as
Scott Anderson and
Roee Sela topped Marcus Bode and Kobe Francis at the second spot, while the third doubles team of
Jake Louiselle and
Diego Marquez blanked Rainer Holl and Max Jody 6-0.
The Tigers wrapped up the win with three singles wins. Anderson topped Ian Tsai at first singles by a 6-4, 6-2 score withÂ
Samuele Pia winning over Gabe Fogle by a 7-5, 6-2 score at the second spot.
Diego Marquez was a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Holl (OWUM) at fourth singles.
