Pair of Tigers Earn All-NCAC Baseball Honors

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw infielders Grady Johnson (So., Lexington, Ky./Sayre) and Max Bond (So., Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville) have been selected all-North Coast Athletic Conference third team in baseball in voting by the conference's coaches.

Johnson, a third baseman for the Tigers, led the Tigers in hitting at .344 with three homers and 31 runs batted in along with an .860 OPS. He led the Tigers with 15 multi-hit games during the season Johnson batted .328 in 15 conference games.

Bond, a shortstop, hit .316 for the season with three homers and 20 RBI and an .818 OPS. Bond stole a team-high 10 bases and drew 22 walks for a .412 on-base percentage. He was tied for second on the squad with 14 multi-hit games, had a 16-game hit streak during the season and reached base in each of the final 24 contests. In 15 conference games, Bond hit .371.
