Greencastle, Ind.Mary Mason gave DePauw a 2-0 lead before Wittenberg scored their first goal to build momentum for the Tigers, leading to a 22-3 win, Tuesday night. DePauw raised their record to 6-5, and advanced their conference record to 2-0.

Mason scored the first goal of the game just 3:53 into the contest. Wittenberg's Jarya Hassell paced the game, counter attacking with a goal to make the score 2-1. The DePauw Tigers proceeded to release an onslaught against the Wittenberg defense with eight goals finding the back of the net, giving them a 8-1 lead by the end of the first.

Kate Sullivan and Mary Mason were on the prowl, each recording a hat trick to lengthen the lead. Mason led the Tigers with six points (3 goals, 3 assists).

NCAC Player of the Week, Kate Leone, wasted no time opening the second period with an impressive over the shoulder shot while sprinting away from the net, extending the lead to 9-1. Less than thirty seconds later, Leone setup Sullivan with a pass from behind the goal, pushing the Tigers one goal shy of triggering the mercy rule.

Tasker sealed the deal four minutes into the second period, scoring a wide-open, close range goal unassisted, triggering the running clock for the Tigers as they cruised to another conference victory.

Niamh Callahan recorded the win in goal for DePauw, while Sidney Sheridan had nine saves for Wittenberg and Gabrielle Weckerly totaled two.
