Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw battled neck-and-neck with Wooster in the first before losing steam in the second half, falling to the Scots, 14-11.
Henry White led the Tigers offensively with four goals while Jack Neff dished up four assists, in addition to a goal of his own. Together the two accounted for nine of the Tigers' points.
White kicked off the first period, netting back-to-back goals to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
The Scots responded with a goal before Jack Neff found the back of the net and White tallied another to score a hat-trick in the first period.
Entering the second, DePauw led 4-1, before Wooster collected three goals to tie the score at 4-4. Beckett Tasker delivered his first goal of the day to regain the Tigers lead, 5-4. The Tigers and Scots proceeded to alternate goals, ending the first half tied at 7-7.
After halftime, the Scots took the lead with a man up, unassisted goal, slung by John Lloyd. The Tigers' Oscar Kokke challenged the action with a goal of his own to even the score for the fifth time in the game, 8-8.
Wooster dominated for the final five-minutes of the third period, tallying two more.
Trailing by two, the Tigers struggled to gain footing, scoring three in the fourth. Wooster held strong with an additional four goals to finalize the score, 14-11.
Anthony Reinhardt totaled 19 saves for DePauw, while Case Lowery had one for the Scots.
Wooster outshot DePauw, 55-29, and committed 20 turnovers to the Tigers' 25. The Scots held a 54-39 edge in ground balls.
The Tigers will return to action when they travel to Springfield, Ohio on Wednesday, April 23rd to take on Wittenberg at 7 p.m.
