Delaware, Ohio - DePauw snapped its eight-game losing streak with an 8-1 win at Ohio Wesleyan in the first game of its North Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader, but the Battling Bishops came back for a 7-3 victory in the nightcap. The Tigers moved to 7-15 overall and 1-3 in the NCAC, while Ohio Wesleyan is now 8-13 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

Louis Florida hit a solo homer in the fourth.
Grady Johnson's single in the fifth brought home
Max Bond and
Jack Murray and extended the Tigers' lead to 4-0.
Zane Vitense put the hosts on the board in the seventh after singling with one out and moving to third on Carter Vilevac's two-out double. After Colton Moone walked, Vitense scored on a wild pitch.
Walkey led off the DePauw ninth with a double before Murray was hit by a pitch. A passed ball advanced the runners and Bond walked setting up Johnson's grand slam to right.
Johnson had three of DePauw's eight hits and drove in six, while Florida added two hits. Three different Battling Bishops collected one hit each.
Jamison Lewis improved to 2-4 after allowing just three hits in 8 1/3 innings. Jacob Lowery dropped to 2-3.
Ohio Wesleyan turned the tables in game two as Matt Spencer drove in Sammy Stoner with a double to center before Vitense, Vilevac and Luke Johnson each followed with RBI singles to give the hosts a 4-0 lead in the first.
DePauw reached the board in the fourth as Bond led off with a single and moved to third on Johnson's single. Bond scored after
Carter Knoll hit into a double play.
A DePauw error in the fourth led to a pair of Ohio Wesleyan runs scoring to make it 6-1.
Knoll singled home
Nolan Osterling in the sixth to cut the deficit to 6-2, but the Battling Bishops countered in the bottom of the second as Vitense reached on a fielder's choice that scored Ryan Duckworth.
Johnson's eighth-inning single brought home Osterling for DePauw's last run.
Johnson and Osterling each had two of DePauw's seven hits, while Vitense, Johnson and Michael Malone each had two of the Battling Bishops' nine hits.
Jake Thometz dropped to 0-1, while Paul Krueger improved to 1-0.
DePauw hosts Wooster on Saturday in a Noon NCAC doubleheader.
