Box Score Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw closed the first period on an 11-0 run and continued to pull away for a 70-42 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Oberlin. The Tigers improved to 15-5 overall and 9-1 in NCAC play, while the Yeowomen dropped to 11-10 overall and 5-5 in the conference.
Oberlin led 8-5 in the opening period before DePauw scored the final 11 for a 16-8 lead at the quarter break. The Tigers extended the advantage to 27-17 at halftime before outscoring the Yeowomen, 43-25, in the second half.
Ava Hassel led the Tigers with 14 points and matched a career high with eight assists.
Olivia Hart followed with 12 points and shared the rebounding lead with
Ainsley Boras as each grabbed eight.
Moira McGinley rounded out the double-figure scorers with 11.
Angela Kumler and Camille Zinaich each scored eight for Oberlin, while Zinaich grabbed five rebounds and handed out four assists. Krystal Montas and Katherine Csiszar also had five rebounds apiece.
DePauw shot 44.4 percent from the field to Oberlin's 32.7 percent and the Tigers held a 37-28 rebounding edge and committed 12 turnovers with the Yeowoment totaling 17.
The Tigers travel to Wittenberg on Wednesday, February 12, for a 5:30 p.m. game.
