Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw scored the game's first seven points and never trailed on the way to a 60-30 win over Ohio Northern in the final game of the Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament. After trailing, 7-0, early in the first, the Polar Bears closed the gap to three before DePauw pushed it back to eight at 14-6 at the quarter break. The Tigers led 28-15 at the halftime intermission and held Ohio Northern to just 16.7 percent shooting in the third to extend the lead to 46-21 after scoring 15 straight. DePauw led by as many as 34 in the final period to close out the victory.
Riley Mont, an all-tournament selection, led DePauw with 16 points and six rebounds and became the 22nd player in program history to score 1,000 points after a bucket with 5:31 left.
Alina Prusko followed with 12 points and
Olivia Hart added 10.
Tori Allen dished out a career-best seven assists.Â
Charlotte Pauling and Pricilla Adjei each scored five for Ohio Northern with Emerson Gray and Pauling each grabbing four rebounds.Â
DePauw shot 42.1 percent from the field and held the Polar Bears to 25.6 percent. The Tigers held a 34-25 rebounding edge and committed 13 turnovers to Ohio Northern's 22.
