Decatur, Ill. - DePauw slipped to 12-14 on the season after dropping a pair of matches to Millikin 3-1 (25-18, 25-22, 10-25, 25-21) and to WashU 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-15).
Against Millikin,
Addison Hooker led the Tigers with 10 kills and
Julia McWaters totaled 20 assists.
Kendall Herrick and McWaters each had two aces, while
Jen Proeh had four blocks and
Grace Myers 25 digs.
Delaney Higgins led the Big Blue with 14 kills and Alyssa Frederking totaled 28 assists, 18 digs and two aces. Nikkel Johnson led the way with five blocks.
Millikin outhit DePauw, .170-.119 and led in kills, 50-42. DePauw held a 5-4 edge in aces and Millikin led in blocks, 8-7.
Proeh had nine kills against WashU with Herrick totaling 10 assists. Myers finished with 18 digs and
Kerry O'Connor had two blocks.
Leah Oyewole totaled 12 kills for the Bears and Sam Buckley finished with 33 assists. Avery Reed led the way with five aves, while Ellie Laird had 18 digs and Nia Jones two blocks.
WashU outhit DePauw .263-.113 and held a 44-25 advantage in kills. The Bears led in aces, 10-1, and in blocks, 4-2.
DePauw travels to Denison on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for a 7 p.m. North Coast Athletic Confererence Tournament quarterfinal contest.
