Delaware, Ohio - Sophomore middle, Addy Allegier made the game winning goal for women's soccer against Ohio Wesleyan in the 34th minute.
Neck-and-neck with the Fighting Bishops, freshman middle, Lily Ault shot the ball across the field to Allgeier who was inside the penalty box. OWU's goalie and Allgeier both converged on the ball but offense won out, tapping the ball past the goalie in a last ditch effort before the opportunity ended.
The Tigers went 5 for 7 in shots on goal. OWU edged the Tigers 7-5 in shots and corner kicks 4-1.
Women's soccer will return to action on Wednesday, October 22nd when they host Denison at 7 p.m. With three games remaining in the regular season, the Tigers are third in the NCAC with a record of 8-5-1 (2-2).
