Bloomington, Ill. - DePauw moved to 3-3 on the season following a split of its Saturday matches at the Illinois Wesleyan's Crafted Classic. The Tigers opened with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-5, 25-15) win over Webster before Loras topped DePauw 3-2 (21-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-15, 15-7).
In the Webster match, the Tigers outhit the Gorloks, .341-(-.023) and held a 41-19 edge in kills.
Katie Gansle and
Kaiden Harrington each recorded nine kills with Harrington hitting .500 for the match.
Kendall Herrick and
Olivia Karwin each finished with 15 assists, while each, along with Gansle finished with two service aces apiece.
Grace Myers finished with 15 digs and Ashley Hass totaled five block assists.
Eva Tarlos led Webster with five kills, while Ellie Biedenstein finished with seven assists. Biedenstein and Megan Zablonski each recorded two aces. Lauren Harms had a team-high six digs and Grace White had two block assists.
Karwin led the Tigers with 17 kills against Loras with Herrick totaling 28 assists.
Riley Kamer,
Grace Myers and Karwin had two aces apiece, while Myers added 20 digs.
Kerry O'Connor totaled three block assists.
Autumn Finch finished with 15 kills for the Duhawks with Sara Hoskins totaling 38 assists and three aces. Lucie Lambe finished with 18 digs, while Elaina Schroeder and Kyra Kuehn each had five block assists.
DePauw led in kills, 57-55, but Loras outhit the Tigers, .276-.162. Loras also held an edge in blocks, 11.0-4.0.
Harrington earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 10, when they host Franklin at 6:30 p.m.Â
